The Orlando Sentinel reported yesterday that Army veteran Rennison Castillo sued the Federal government because officials from the U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (USICE) kept him in their custody despite his requests for officials to verify his claim as a U.S. citizen.

USCIS Will Swear In Over 6,000 Citizenship Applicants Over the July 4th Holiday
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will celebrate our nation’s 233rd birthday by naturalizing over 6,000 applicants for citizenship in special ceremonies held across the United States and overseas.
